Down at the Farmer's Market they play those great old songs, Bring your fiddle, rosin your bow and you can play along, The kids are dancing while the parents are shopping, The band is jamming and the quarters are dropping, Down at the Farmer's Market they sell organic produce, Frsh baked bread, so much for you to choose from, Hand made crafts right off the rack, Sold by the people who produce them, Down at the farmer's Market they play those great old songs, And if you know the words then you can sing along, The kids are dancing while the parents are shopping, The band is jamming and the quarters are dropping, I once bought a back pack from a farmers' market vendor, It lasted seven years, for me that's a record, Hand made crafts are made to last, And when you buy them from the maker, they are cheaper, Down at the farmer's market they play those great old tunes, And I'm sure if you made a request, they'd play one for you, The kids are dancing while the parents areshopping, The band is jamming and the quarters are dropping.

Angeline, Angeline, Angeline the Baker, Angeline the Baker, She won't marry me, The first time I saw Angeline was at the County Fair, You could smell her cookies everywhere, I followed the scent to her booth, And I bought three dozen because they smelled so good, Angeline, Angeline, Angeline the Baker, Angeline the Baker, She won't marry me, Angeline the Baker, makes the best snickerdoodles, And when she bakes them she sends some to me, Still Angeline, Angeline, Angeline the Baker, Angeline the Baker, She won't marry me, And I beg and I plead, down on my knees, Angeline please marry me, I beg and I plead, down on my knees, Angeline I need you, I beg and I plead down on my knees, Angeline please marry me, I beg and I plead, down on my knees, why don't you need me. I brought Angeline All her favorite flowers, White, pastry and whole wheat, When I gave them to her she said they made her happy, Still Angeline the Baker, she won't marry me, Angeline, Angeline, Angeline the Baker, Angeline the Baker, She won't marry me, Angeline the Baker, makes vegan ginger cookies, And when she bakes them she sends some to me, Still Angeline, Angeline, Angeline the Baker, Angeline the Baker, She won't marry me,

I saw a Rusty Volvo down on Route 13 I saw a Rusty Volvo and it used to be clean Slipping and a sliding in the slushy snow Slipping and a sliding out of control My friend told me to meet her at the library She said that she would be driving a Rusty Volvo But when I got there there were 19 Rusty olvos She forgot to tell me the color But then she honked at me and I got in her Rusty Volvo It was yellow I saw a Rusty VOlvo parked at the daycare center I saw a Rusty Volvo cruising Stewart Park I saw a Rusty Volvo up at Cornell Driving around looking for a parking spot I saw a Rusty Volvo parked at the food coop And the dog who was locked inside looked way too hot

I am going back to Texas Goodbye to everyone I am going back to Austin It has been a lot of fun I am getting on a Greyhound Southwest is where I'm bound I'm leaving this New York town Where I've learned so much, Just because I'm leaving Don't you be grieving Keep in touch I'll do as much for you. I have done a lot of things that I hope don't get undone I am going to spread my wings and Go back where I'm from You have been good to me baby, Sometimes you drive me crazy, But then again baby You're the one for me Won't you come and see me In the place I was meant to be That would make me happy Baby I am going back to Texas Goodbye to everyone I am going back to Austin It has been a lot of fun

SISTERS IN DISARMAMENT Every Thursday afternoon At Westlake Center Women dressed in Black gather together They stand in silence In defiance of the violence Of their government Holding signs that say no war, Not in our name, Our grief is not a call to war, They're not an organization, They're a loose knit affiliation, Of women who stand for peace. They stand for peace, They stand for justice, They stand for freedom, For everyone not just us, There's a gaggle of Grannies, Who've gotten off of their fannies, And started singing songs for peacce, They sing satire, And wear funny attire, And set the crowd on fire, When they sing their songs for peace, They don't have no cd's, Not hat for money, They're just singing about what they believe, They take old songs you already know And change the words to be about what's going on in the world today You already know the melody I'm sure you can figure out the parody And sing along with the Raging Grannies At the next peace rally

Don't jump off of.that bridge You're gonna find a reason to live Something that you can look forward to A dream that will come true You put all your hopes in a dream And then she cut your heart to pieces She said that all you do is scheme And now your heart can't find peace. Don't give up on your love, You got a lot of lovin to give Don't give up on your life You're your own reason to live. Sometimes a change in direction Brings the forgiveness you've been needing Sometimes a heart needs protection When you've lost something that you believe in. You'll make it to the other side And live a long and happy life You'll make it through the night I wish you a long and healthy life
